.
Florida visual artist and art educator working in printmaking, collage, and mixed media. My inspiration is drawn from my beliefs, interests, and life experiences. By bridging stark lines with soft textures; geometric shapes with organic shapes; and color with black and white, I strive to bring opposing forms together in aesthetic and harmonious ways. I break down the subject matter and then reconstruct it, this process allows me to redefine reality - an exquisite freedom.

In addition to being an artist, I teach visual arts classes. In 2008 I published "Dreams & Visions" a metaphorical journey of poetry and prose. As a hobby I play the 5-string banjo and arrange and compose banjo instrumentals. The arts encircle my life. |
