Anita Dallar, born South Hempstead, New York

2010               Created Diversified ART, empowering creative people and promoting social consciousness, a collection of art, articles, poetry, prose, visual art activities and lessons encouraging diversity, creativity and social consciousness.

2009               Professional Educators Certificate Art K-12 and ESE K-12, Florida Department of Education

2008               Published "Dreams & Visions" a collection of poetry and prose about my life, written over a 20 year period.

2000-2003      Created a K-12 arts enrichment program, also designed and taught the art project based lessons.

1999-2000      Advocacy & Outreach, promoting inclusion and independence of persons with disabilities. Center for Independent Living, non-profit

1997               Moved to Florida

1994-1996      Consulted on the set up of screen printing departments for various small businesses.

1992               First public fine art exhibition, etchings and intaglio monotypes

1991-1992      Illustrator, designed and hand illustrated business logos, cartoons, and educational material such as flashcards, posters, childrens stories, and reading/counting aids.

1990-1991      Graphic Artist/Art Director for a small publishing company

1988-1990      Daily Living Skills Coach for adults with multiple disabilities. TRI-Aegis Residential Services, non-profit

1989               Bachelor's Degree Studio Art emphasis printmaking, San Jose State University, San Jose, California.

1987               Scholarship Intaglio Printmaking, San Jose State University, San Jose, California.

1986-1988     Technical Screen Printer, printing on leather, vinyl, plastics and ceramics.

1986               Associate's Degree Art History, Cabrillo College, Aptos, California

1981               Moved to California

1980               GED, New York

1979               In high school drew freelance pencil and pen & ink illustrations for local businesses.

1976-1978      As a child studied drawing, figure drawing, printmaking and clay sculpture at;
                       Silvermine Guild for Artists, New Canaan, Connecticut
                       Maitland Art Center, Maitland, Florida
                       S.U.N.Y, New York
